Our school teams take part in a wide range of performances, festivals and competitive activities with other schools, including the Junior Ten Tors and Youth Speaks.
In 2021, Boringdon teamed up with Rocksteady to offer Peripatetic music lessons to KS2. The Rocksteady programme is proven to progress musicianship, confidence and teamwork with no prior experience necessary. The children learn in a small group setting and are able to come up with a band name and have a choice of songs to learn. Instruments offered include drums, electric guitar, keyboard and vocals and all equipment is provided by Rocksteady. The bands perform to parents and the rest of the school every term to show off all their hard work!
