At Boringdon Primary School, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Through our Community Promise, we encourage every child to make a positive difference to the world around them by taking part in meaningful acts of service, kindness and citizenship.

Our Community Promise is rooted in our school values. It provides children with opportunities to demonstrate these values in action, whether that is showing kindness to others, taking responsibility for improving their environment, supporting local causes, helping those in need or leading positive change within our school community. Through these experiences, children learn that even small actions can have a lasting impact.

We want our pupils to leave Boringdon not only with strong academic knowledge but also with the character, confidence and sense of social responsibility needed to make a positive contribution to society. The Community Promise helps children understand that they have the power to create change and that being an active member of their community matters.

This is an exciting new initiative that we are launching across the school. Over the coming months, pupils will be taking part in a range of community-focused opportunities and challenges, and we look forward to sharing their achievements, experiences and impact with our families and wider community.
